Dr. Gulati is the Head of The Department of Pediatrics at one of India’s leading and best-known specialty hospitals, Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi
He has 40 years of experience in Pediatrics, holding various positions in well-known hospitals in New Delhi. The hospitals where he has served are Maulana Azad Medical College, Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital, G.B.Pant Hospital, Lady Hardinge Medical College & Smt. Dr. Gulati is the Product Design and Development Head of IPAN, the Point-Of-Care diagnostic support, practice management, and EMR system of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics.
IPAN was developed and field tested in 2018-19 under Dr. Gulati’s leadership.
Dr. Gulati is one of the pioneers of Electronic Medical Record and Practice Management Systems in India. One of India’s earliest such systems in 1995 was developed under his leadership. He has been closely associated with the medical informatics industry since then.
Expert advisor to NSDl e-Gov for its Arogya Saarthi (NAD) App
Social Outreach:
As a socially responsible citizen, Dr. Gulati has lent his expertise and time to child health programs at various schools in Delhi.
He has worked with Delhi Government (Education Dept.) to enact a ban on interviews for preschool children.
He has also worked in the resettlement colonies of Delhi to study the impact on the health and nutritional status of children covered under the Government of India’s ICDS scheme.
He has often been interviewed or featured in national and local media. Once in the Washington Post as well.
